S. A. Raja Pharmacy College is one of the very few foremost colleges of the Rajas Group of Colleges, Vadakangulam, which had been established 25 years back in 1988 by Sardhar Dr. S. A. Raja, the Founder of Rajas Group of Colleges. And it is the only traditional Pharmacy College available for the three districts of Kanniyakumari, Thoothukudi and Tirunelveli in Tamilnadu.
Our college is located in Raja Nagar, Vadakangulam. It's just 8 km from Kavalkinaru junction. The college is situated amidst wind mills which extend a few kilometres around Aralvaimozhi, the village having the largest wind farm in Asia.
Courses Offered
M Pharm
Master Of Pharmacy (MPharm) is a two-year post-graduate program. The course is based on pharmaceutical sciences that deal with the study of drugs and medicines.
Pharm D
Pharm D or Doctor of Pharmacy is a six-year course for doctorate-level students who wish to complete a doctoral program in professional pharmacy.
B Pharm
Bachelor of Pharmacy or B.Pharm is a 4 years undergraduate degree that teaches students about drug synthesis, dosage formulation, analysing the chemical nature and preclinical testing of new drugs.
D Pharm
Diploma in Pharmacy is a 2-year-long career-oriented, diploma course. Students who wish to pursue a long-term career in the medical field of pharmaceutical sciences.
